The players interact with the world by starting on a preset game board which then expands, tile by tile, in whatever direction the players move. Within the tiles being place are zombie spawning tiles, tiles that hold the objectives necessary for winning the game and resource tiles that provide the weapons and equipment.
Every play through is entirely different and the game requires a lot of teamwork to get through alive. In some cases you may even need to accept that not everyone is going to make it out alive. In trying times some players may decide to sacrifice themselves in order for the others to survive, on the other hand, some players may decide to totally abandon their friends and leave them behind. The game allows for a variety of strategies but encourages teamwork over all else.
The game takes from half an hour to 2 hours to play and can be played with 3-6 players.
